History

Great Lakes Central Railroad (GLC)

Formerly known as Tuscola Saginaw Bay Railways, Great Lakes Central Railroad was purchased in March 2006 by Federated Railways, a wholly owned subsidiary of Federated Capital Corporation. GLC is the largest regional rail system in the great state of Michigan, stretching from Ann Arbor to Traverse City and Petoskey.

The Mission of the Great Lakes Central Railroad passenger division is to be the premier regional and state transportation partner connecting the people and the economy of Michigan to their destinations in a reliable, affordable, safe, and efficient manner.
